How much does a website cost?
Our information websites start from £300, business websites from £1,500 and online shops from £3,000. The final price depends on how many pages and which features you need, and we always give you a fixed written quote before starting. See our pricing page for the full breakdown.
Do I have to pay anything upfront?
No. Nothing is due before we start work. Your quote sets out exactly when payments fall due.
Why don't you use WordPress or Wix?
Page builders and themes add a lot of code your site doesn't need, which slows it down, and they need constant plugin and security updates. Writing the site ourselves keeps it fast, secure and cheap to run. You still get a site you can grow — and if you want to edit content yourself, we can add a content management system.
Will my website work on phones?
Yes. Every site is designed for phones first and tested on phones, tablets and desktops. Most of your visitors will arrive on a phone, so that's where we start.
Can you help my site show up on Google?
Every site we build has the technical groundwork search engines look for: fast pages, clear headings, page titles and descriptions, structured data and a sitemap. We can't promise a particular ranking — nobody honestly can — but we'll give your site the best possible start.
What happens after the site launches?
We host the site and keep it running. When you need changes, we charge £50 an hour for jobs that take an hour or less and £30 an hour for anything longer. Read more about hosting and support.
