MJ Hub is a Southampton-based partnership between Marcel Mulders and Jessica Williams. We build websites and online shops, give hands-on HR support, set up and connect finance in Xero, and use data and AI to help businesses plan and grow. When you work with MJ Hub, you work with us directly.
Who we are
Meet the founders.
Both co-founders are also employed and actively working in their own industries — Jessica in HR and Marcel in software development — so the advice, systems and tools you get from MJ Hub reflect how things are done today, not how they were done years ago.
Jessica Williams
Co-Founder · HR & Finance
Jessica leads HR and finance — hands-on HR advice and consulting, tailored HR platforms, and finance and budgeting built around Xero — and is the primary contact for that work. Jessica is an Associate Member of the CIPD (Assoc CIPD), the UK's professional body for HR, and is employed in HR alongside MJ Hub, so her advice comes from current, day-to-day practice.
Marcel Mulders
Co-Founder · Web, Software & AI
Marcel leads websites, e-commerce, software and AI — from bespoke builds and online shops to integrations and Claude-powered tools — including MJ Hub's own store for single-board computer technology, and is the primary contact for that work. Alongside MJ Hub, Marcel is employed as a software developer, working with current tools and practices every day.
How we work
Founder-led, team-built.
The founders organise every engagement and stay your main point of contact, while our in-house team does the work. You always know who to talk to, and nothing gets lost in a handover.
- Founder-led. Marcel and Jessica are your primary contacts, from the first message to long after the project is finished, and they lead the team doing the work. If either is unavailable at short notice, another member of our team is on hand.
- Still in the industry. Both co-founders are employed in their fields as well as running MJ Hub, so they keep up with what's changing in HR, software and AI first-hand.
- Everything in-house. We design, build and host every website ourselves. No outsourcing, no page builders, no middlemen.
- Transparent pricing. Our website prices and hourly rates are published openly, and every project gets a fixed written quote with nothing due upfront.
- Straight answers. If you don't need something, we'll say so. If we can't promise a result, we won't.
- Lasting relationships. We'd rather look after a client for years than finish a project and move on. We stay on hand after launch.

Rooted in Southampton, working across the UK.
We're based in Southampton and work with businesses across Hampshire, Bournemouth, the Isle of Wight and anywhere else in the UK. All our meetings are video calls, booked at a time that suits you, with screen sharing so you can see the work as it takes shape.
